Patient update: 50-year-old male unable to stand or get out of bed for months due to back and leg pain because of an unstable L5-S1 level due to arthritic wear and herniation of his disc. He was treated with an anterior lumbar fusion using a ring of bone followed by posterior stabilization with screws and rods and removal of his large disc herniation. ~Dr Cyr #SASpine
