Dr Cyr (shown here reviewing sacroiliac fixation) is always meticulously planning and preparing himself in a careful, thorough manner before beginning any surgery.
Before performing any procedure he thoroughly reads the MRI, CT scan, and X-ray images multiple times (the actual studies, not the reports). He measures every bone and screw, then repeats the imaging in real-time with a mobile X-ray unit/C arm while performing surgery. Often he will even implement a high-tech 3D imaging system, called O-arm navigation, while he places spinal screws and fixation into the spine and across the sacroiliac joints. His surgeries are performed with precision and painstaking detail every single time. Attention to detail is the key to superior outcomes. #MeasureTwiceCutOnce #SASpine
