You’ve had so many successful outcomes, what’s your thought process when it comes to seeing new patients?
It’s very important to do a full assessment of the spine which includes, at a minimum, X-rays with flexion and extension views in addition to an MRI. Often, an MRI is important but is not enough by itself. Commonly there is instability and other areas of nerve compression that need to be addressed for a successful outcome. I prefer not to ignore areas where there are significant issues to cut surgery short. I prefer not to do multiple surgeries on my patients. I believe in that approach as it has served me well for many years with blessed outcomes, thanks to God. ~Dr Cyr
